Tom Kennedy, executive chairman of the board of directors, will step down from the role on June 1 and be succeeded by CEO Greg Hayes. Kennedy led Raytheon as CEO in the six years prior to the April 2020 merger of that company with United Technologies Corp. His career at Raytheon spanned 38 years in total.
