Sudan has started preparing for worst-case scenarios regarding the Renaissance Dam file, especially after Ethiopian officials revealed their country s intention to complete the second filling of the dam. Ethiopia has not yet reached an agreement with Sudan and Egypt, which Khartoum considers a dangerous move concerning the Sudanese Roseires Dam and the 20 million citizens living on the banks of the Nile.

The United Nations (UN) Security Council and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres have called on thousands of foreign fighters and mercenaries to immediately leave Libya, with Guterres exclaiming: Leave the Libyans alone!
Guterres pointed out that: The ceasefire is holding. It s essential that all foreign troops and all foreign mercenaries move first to Benghazi and to Tripoli and, from there, move back and leave the Libyans alone, because the Libyans have already proven that, left alone, they are able to address their problems.

UAE s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash and Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, discussed the latest political, field and humanitarian developments in Yemen and ways of reinforcing the mutual historic ties between the two friendly countries.
During their remote meeting, Gargash congratulated the Yemeni FM on being appointed to his new position.
The two sides also discussed ways of supporting the Yemeni people to restore stability in their country and establish the foundations of peace and development.
