Hanoi - The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has provided 30.2 million USD as non-refundable assistance to Vietnam to help the country deal with climate change impacts.
The sum will be allocated to a project âStrengthening the resilience of smallholder agriculture to climate change-induced water insecurity in the Central Highlands and south-central coast regions of Vietnamâ (SACCR).
A document to this effect was signed by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Hanoi on May 28.

Five researchers shed new light on a key argument to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG): they provided the first economic analysis of conversion factors of other GHG like methane into their CO2 equivalent in overshoot scenarios. The United Arab Emirates today announced an offer to host the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Abu Dhabi in 2023, with a focus on the economic case for inclusive climate action.
