Iran warns US about adventurism in Persian Gulf Iran warns US about adventurism in Persian Gulf Teheran, Jan 1 (Prensa Latina) Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Yavad Zarif on Friday warned the United States about its responsibility for the consequences of adventurism in the Persian Gulf. Zarif expressed that opinion during a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, in which they exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and on bilateral relations. The head of Iranian diplomacy described the Pentagon s movements in the region as suspicious , and stated that Washington will be held responsible for any missteps in the area.
