NYC opens application for 10th ECOSOC Youth Forum

Published March 3, 2021, 12:49 PM The National Youth Commission (NYC), in partnership with the United Nations Department of Economic (UN DESA) and Social Affairs and the Office of the Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth, is now accepting application to the 10th Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum 2021. ECOSOC will be held virtually on April 7 to 8. The forum aims to provide a platform for a dialogue among young leaders from around the world on solutions affecting youth wellbeing. The NYC will be nominating two youth delegates, one male and one female, to the conference. Qualified youth delegates are Filipino citizens who are 15 to 24 years old (UN youth age), has background and knowledge on sustainable development goals (SDGs); preferably active member of a youth organization, has a good command of written and spoken English, with Philippine passport of Philippine Statistics Authority-issued birth certificate, must be willing to be an NYC volunteer or to comply
