Sheffield United Women’s defender Ocean Rolandsen has signed a permanent contract with the club after joining on a short-term deal in January.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a successful spell since arriving from Watford, starting all nine games the club has played since joining, with Neil Redfearn’s side going unbeaten in eight of them, with Rolandsen a mainstay.
The former Chelsea Academy graduate previously represented London Bees as well as the Hornets before swapping south for north in January after the FA Women’s National League was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Rolandsen has been a solid presence both offensively and defensively in the Blades side and got her first assist against Middlesbrough in last month’s Vitality FA Women’s Cup tie.

Solskjaer handed debuts to youngsters Amad and Anthony Elanga, and although Mason Greenwood continued his fine goal-scoring form with another strike, United were consigned to their fifth league defeat of the campaign.
