The Congress demanded an immediate rollback in the recent increase in LPG prices in order to give relief to the common people.

NEW DELHI: Thousands of farmers have been protesting for nearly three weeks on the outskirts of the national capital against the three new farm laws enacted by the Centre. Several rounds of negotiations between the government and the protesting farmers have failed to break the deadlock.
The government says the new laws are part of the much-needed reforms in the agriculture sector that will improve the lives of farmers in the long run. However, the government said it s ready to make amendments to address the genuine concerns of the farmers but has ruled out repeal of the new laws.
Several experts think that the farm laws are a step in the right direction. However, there are many others who are not in support of the new laws.
