Guwahati: The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) election in Assam, considered as the semi-final before the Assembly poll due in April next year, threw up a hung House as no party or coalition managed to win enough seats to secure a clear majority.
However, the BJP delivered a strong performance by improving its tally marginally to nine seats from its 2015 s count of one seat.
