NJ concerts: Bad Bunny sees strong demand, My Chemical Romance postpone

The bad experience some fans had with the Bad Bunny 2022 tour onsale last week was due to a “huge volume” of demand, Ticketmaster says. Fans vented on social media on April 15 as presale tickets for Puerto Rican trap rapper s “El Último Tour del Mundo 2022,” aka the Last World Tour 2022, went on sale through Ticketmaster. Many fans experienced long waits, and at least one crash of the Ticketmaster site, according to posts. Tickets went on sale to the general public on April 16. “We’ve missed the excitement and buzz of a busy onsale, and appreciate everyone’s patience as we managed the huge volume Bad Bunny generated to get a record number of tickets into fans’ hands,” said a Ticketmaster rep to the USA Today Network New Jersey in a statement. “Bad Bunny reminded us all of how much the live experience matters to fans, and we are thrilled to see such strong demand for live music.”

NorthJersey.com Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Lisa McCormick submitted phony petitions to get on June’s primary ballot, including at least two petitions purported to have been signed by voters who are dead, an attorney for the New Jersey Democratic Party alleged during a court hearing Monday. Attorney Rajiv Parikh’s allegations were buttressed by five voters whose names are on McCormick’s petitions but who testified they did not sign them. Parikh also submitted evidence that other petitions, supposedly filled out and signed by the voters themselves, include misspellings of the voters’ names and their street addresses. “They tried to get Miss McCormick on the ballot by cheating, and it should not be tolerated,” Parikh said.
