Longtime Insight Enterprises leader Ken Lamneck plans to retire at the end of 2021 after quadrupling sales and increasing the channel giant’s stock price eight-fold.
The Tempe, Ariz.-based company, No. 15 on the 2020 CRN Solution Provider 500, said it has engaged an executive search firm to identify potential successors to Lamneck from both internal and external candidates. Lamneck, 66, will continue to serve as Insight’s president and CEO until a successor has been named, and will then transition into an advisory role for the remainder of the calendar year.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ At least six candidates will run for three open seats on Gloucester Township Council in this fall s general elections. Three Democrats and three Republicans have filed to run for the open seats. Any petitions by third-party or independent candidates must be filed by the June 8 primary.

Bettyann Sheats
AUGUSTA The Finance Authority of Maine recently welcomed Bettyann Sheats of Auburn to its board of directors.
She was nominated by Gov. Janet Mills in late January and confirmed by the Legislature in late February.
Sheats owns a small specialty construction business. She previously served two terms in the Maine House of Representatives, where she served on the Transportation Committee. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where she majored in aeronautical engineering, Sheats served her nation in the United States Army, where she achieved the rank of captain and served as a helicopter pilot.

Three more students from the Greystone Preparatory School at University of the Ozarks recently learned they had received appointments into a U.S. military service academy.
Those students were (pictured from left) Anthony Chambers of Denver, Col.; Jackson Collier of Danville, Calif.; and Benjamin Johnson of Jackson, Miss.
The students are enrolled in Greystone, a one-year, college-level academy prep school that prepares students for nomination, appointment and success at one of the country’s five military service academies. Greystone moved to the U of O campus in 2020 after spending the past 16 years in Texas.
