Prince George s County Annual Toys for Tots Distribution Set for Saturday, December 19, 2020 | Southern Maryland News Net

December 18, 2020 We are back at it again with one of our favorite events of the year – Toys for Tots! Our PGPD elves assigned to the Community Services Division are working overtime to make sure every boy and girl in Prince George’s County has a wonderful holiday. This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we received a larger number of toy requests than usual from county residents. We are so excited to once again partner with the Prince George’s County Public Safety agencies and the United States Marine Corps on this tremendous effort. Due to the global pandemic, we are executing operations a little differently this year with a new location. This coming Saturday, the toys will be distributed to families that have already registered at a drive thru event at Six Flags America. We are also partnering with the County Executive Office’s “Stand Up and Deliver” program to provide food vouchers to county residents attending the event.
