Southern Illinois Congressman Mike Bost is inviting his constituents to a telephone town hall.
The Murphysboro republican says he wants to hear from people in the 12th district about issues before the United States Congress and the federal government.
The telephone town hall will be Tuesday starting at 6:45 p.m.

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio Republican Party’s Central Committee has voted to censure U.S. Rep. Anthony Gonzalez, of Cleveland, and nine other GOP congressional members who voted in February to impeach former President Donald Trump.
In addition, the Ohio GOP has also called on Gonzalez to resign.
The vote Friday rounds out similar votes to rebuke or censure seven other Republican impeachment-supporting representatives by state or local parties. Efforts to censure the other two failed.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The National Day of Prayer was Thursday, and dozens came out to worship and pray at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
Several came out to pray for the community, churches, and law enforcement officials.
Several churches throughout the community were represented.
People were urged to live a more holy life by depending on prayer and steering away from acting out in hate.

Ridgewood resident Brendan Hunt, also known as “X-Ray Ultra,” was recently convicted of threatening to assault and murder members of the United States Congress to impede, interfere and intimidate with those members and to retaliate against them on account of their performance of their official duties.
On Jan. 8, 2021, two days after the violent assault on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., Hunt, 37, posted a video called “KILL YOUR SENATORS” that included the summary “Slaughter them all,” to BitChute, an Internet-based video sharing site. In the video, Hunt made additional threats, exhorting his viewers to violence and telling them that “[w]e need to go back to the U.S. Capitol when all of the Senators and a lot of the Representatives are back there, and this time we have to show up with our guns.
