Rioters identified participating in the breach of the United States Capitol Building are being fired by their employers.
From lawyers to real estate agents, companies around the US have been quick to remove staff involved in the siege.
After documenting his experience on Instagram of being tear-gassed outside the Capitol, North Texas lawyer Paul Davis found himself jobless. In the footage, he demanded an audit of the election, with riot police seen behind him.

The United State Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday announced 13 suspects have been charged in federal court following Wednesday s riots at the Capitol, including a man from North Alabama.
Lonnie Coffman of Falkville was arrested Wednesday and charged on Thursday with possession of an unregistered firearm (destructive device) and carrying a pistol without a license.
According to the DOJ, “it is alleged that Coffman’s vehicle contained 11 explosive devices known as Molotov cocktails and firearms.” He’s also accused of being in possession of two firearms.

Troy Anthony Smocks was arrested in Texas on Jan. 15, 2021, and charged with threats in interstate commerce.
Robert Bauer was arrested in Kentucky on Jan. 15 and charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful entry; violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds
Damon Michael Beckley was arrested in Kentucky on Jan. 16 and charged with unlawful entry of a restricted building; disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds
Bryan Bentancur, of Maryland, was arrested on January 17 and charged with knowingly entering restricted buildings or grounds; unlawful activities on Capitol grounds; disorderly conduct; unlawful activities on Capitol grounds, parades, assemblages and display of flags
