Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., said she requested to move her Washington office away from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, saying the Georgia Republican berated her in the Capitol earlier this month and lashed out at Bush on Twitter.
Bush announced her decision to move Friday on Twitter and an aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was not authorized to speak on the record, said the change was “by the direct order of the Speaker upon request.”
In a closed-door hearing, the acting Capitol Police chief said the department knew two days before the January 6 protest that it "would not be like any of the previous protests held in 2020."
DC Councilmember Charles Allen's request comes after an Ohio Congressman recently suggested the perimeter around the Capitol Building may move "outward".

First and foremost, I would like to thank the city council and Mayor Hernandez for their support. I am truly humbled and honored to be recognized by the community which I will always consider my home. Although I know it is cliche to say this but I was just doing my job on that terrible along with my brothers and sisters. We took an oath to protect members of Congress, staff, and visitors.
