Jushi Holdings to Acquire Nature’s Remedy in Massachusetts

Jushi Holdings will enter the Massachusetts cannabis market via the acquisition of Nature’s Remedy, a vertically integrated operator with two adult-use retail dispensaries and a 50,000 sq. ft. cultivation and processing facility.
The cash-and-stock transaction is valued at $110 million, and includes a $40 million cash payment, $55 million in stock and a $5 million promissory note.
An additional $10 million in stock-based milestone payments is also up for grabs once the deal closes during the second half of 2021.
“This acquisition will enable us to rapidly build scale in an important, maturing adult-use market with a defensible retail position and a solid cultivation footprint with significant opportunities to expand,” Jushi CEO Jim Cacioppo said in a news release.
