Scott Sternberg Appointed to USA Triathlon Board of Directors 01/25/21
Connecticut-based media and technology executive to serve two-year term as Independent Director
USA Triathlon today announced that Scott Sternberg, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based media and technology executive, has been appointed to the USA Triathlon Board of Directors. Sternberg will serve as an Independent Director for a two-year term starting in January 2021.
Sternberg has worked at companies such as Disney+, ESPN, Yahoo, Excite@Home as well as venture-backed start-ups. He currently specializes in Devices and Distribution Product Management at Disney Streaming Services and is Founder and Managing Partner at Starhill Partners, LLC, a Greenwich-based consulting firm.

USA Triathlon and Pocket Outdoor Media, publishers of Triathlete Magazine, today announced a partnership in which they will produce a joint magazine for all USA Triathlon Annual Members and Triathlete subscribers. The partnership also gives USA Triathlon Annual Members access to Triathlete Pass, a hub of exclusive online digital content housed at Triathlete.com a $50 value, with no increase to the cost of the USA Triathlon Annual Membership ($50).
USA Triathlon Dives in with Zone3 as Exclusive Swimwear Partner Through 2024 01/19/21
USA Triathlon today announced a partnership with Zone3 as the organization’s Exclusive Swimwear Partner through 2024.
Zone3 will provide open water accessories, goggles, swimwear, swim accessories, transition packs and bags to athletes on the U.S. National Team and Toyota U.S. Paratriathlon National Team and will also support designated high-performance teams, coaches and staff.
Zone3 will also serve as the title sponsor of USA Triathlon’s Youth & Junior Nationals. The company offers a kids’ product line designed specifically for youth multisport athletes, featuring a kid-specific fit and design while maintaining performance technology.

Chris Mosier to Present Keynote at Endurance Exchange, Slate of Speakers Added 01/11/21

Chris Mosier, the first transgender athlete to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials in the gender with which they identify and the first transgender member of USA Triathlon’s age group Team USA, was today announced as a keynote speaker at Endurance Exchange, a virtual endurance sports industry conference hosted by USA Triathlon from Jan. 21-23, 2021.
In addition, history-making IRONMAN finisher Chris Nikic; U.S. Olympian and world champion Katie Zaferes and her husband, World Triathlon photographer Tommy Zaferes; U.S. Paralympic gold medalist Grace Norman; and IRONMAN CEO Andrew Messick have all been added to the speaker lineup for the virtual event.
