Indian-origin lobbyists are rallying India’s many visa workers to pressure Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) to remove his China-related amendment from Sen. Mike Lee’s S.386 green card giveaway bill.
“Please act IMMEDIATELY and with utmost URGENCY. We need this email to go out in LARGE numbers & for there to be a LOT of calls,” said a Facebook message from Immigration Voice, a group which has organized a very aggressive series of street protests against GOP and Democratic legislators.
The message also included a veiled threat to restart the harassment of U.S. politicians who do not pressure Scott:

President-Elect Joe Biden is sending a message of open borders to the world’s migrants as he promises to at least temporarily halt deportations and eliminate President Trump’s reforms at the United States-Mexico border, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Chief Mark Morgan says.
In a press call this week, Morgan suggested that Biden’s rhetoric where he has promised an amnesty for illegal aliens and to dismantle Trump’s legal wall is contributing to illegal immigration at the southern border.

Morgan suggested Biden had also contributed to the trends at the border, saying “cartels and human smugglers are fueling perceptions that our borders will once again be wide open, and that we will be reinstating the loopholes that have been closed.” [Emphasis added]
Meth, Heroin, Cocaine and Fentanyl Seized at the Border

On Dec. 11, a 53-year-old male U.S. citizen driving a Ford F-150 pickup arrived at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge and a CBP officer referred him for further inspection. The secondary inspection included utilizing non-intrusive imaging (NII) equipment which allowed the officer to discover 44 packages
