Hi,
I m wondering if someone with experience in the CKGR could please offer me some advice. I m planning to visit
Botswana next April-May for a 2.5 week trip. Time is limited, and we are planning to do a self-drive to keep costs down.
Our primary interest is wildlife photography. We are happy with any type of animal, very tiny to large, and are hoping to see a variety during the trip.
We will be flying from the USA West Coast and doing a few recovery days at Victoria Falls to adjust to the time difference. Current plan is then to do a first leg of driving in Kasane (1N), Muchenje (1N), Savuti (2N), Khwai River (2N), Third Bridge (2N), then Maun (2N). Then our next leg is in the Kalahari (Sunday Pan (1N), Passarge Valley (1N), Deception Pan (1N), Gweta (1N), Nxai Pan South (2N), and back to Maun (1N).
