The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised the citizens against travelling to India, which is recording the highest number of daily Covid-19 cases in the world.
In a statement, the top health agency in the US has said, Amid a surge in Covid cases (in India), travellers should avoid all travel to India. Even fully vaccinated travellers may be at risk for getting and spreading variants and should avoid all travel to India. If you must travel to India, get fully vaccinated before travel.

In the wake of a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases across India, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that travellers should avoid all travel to India. The CDC has also warned that even fully vaccinated travellers are at the risk of contracting or spreading the variants of COVID-19 again. However, it stated that in case people need to travel to India, then they must get fully vaccinated.

The Italian government has reportedly held talks with several pharmaceutical companies about starting production of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines, suggesting a move away from the previously-favored adenovirus-based vaccines produced by AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, which have been linked to cases of blood clotting.
The United States Centers for Disease Control website says an mRNA shot is one that teaches cells in the body how to make a protein that triggers an immune response inside the body.
