Deputies arrest suspect in West Colorado Ave. shooting EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) The El Paso County Sheriff s Office arrested a suspect in a shooting that happened last week in unincorporated El Paso County. On June 10, deputies responded to the 3400 block of West Colorado Avenue on reports of a shooting. At the scene, deputies found an adult man in the parking lot with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. First responders provided him medical care at the scene before he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Wednesday, deputies arrested the suspect, identified as Jonathan Dykas, 34, without incident. According to court documents, he faces assault with a deadly weapon, assault 1 extreme indifference, and felony menacing.
