Woman Facing Hefty Fine For Harassing Bears In Yellowstone
The United States Attorney s Office this week announced that an Illinois woman is facing up to $10,000 in fines for allegedly harassing grizzly bears in Yellowstone.
According to a news release, Samantha R. Dehring is charged with one count of willfully remaining, approaching and photographing wildlife within 100 yards and one count of feeding, touching teasing, frightening or intentionally disturbing wildlife.

She faces up to a year behind bars and $10,000 in fines if convicted.
According to the news release, Dehring was at Roaring Mountain on May 10 when visitors noticed a sow grizzly bear and her three cubs. Other visitors backed off and got into their vehicles, but Dehring remained in the area.

Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, who formerly headed the Intelligence Response Team, on Tuesday appeared before the Special Investigation Panel set up by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, and was grilled for several hours.
SaharaReporters learnt that Kyari, who appeared before the panel headed by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in-charge of the Force Criminal Investigations Department, Joseph Egbunike, claimed he was innocent in the $1.1million Internet fraud perpetrated by serial fraudster, Abbas Ramon, popularly known as Hushpuppi, and five others.

SWEETGRASS, Mont. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 69.5 pounds of cocaine this past Thursday.
CBP officers assigned at the Sweetgrass border stopped a commercial truck driven by a Canadian woman. The truck contained watermelons and peppers headed to Canada.
Officers investigated deeper into the truck and found concealed bags full of cocaine.
“Utilizing high-tech tools, our frontline CBP Officers used a combination of their training and experience to detect and seize 69.5 pounds of cocaine in the cargo environment,” said Area Port Director Jason Greene, Sweetgrass Port of Entry. “The ability to facilitate lawful trade and travel while sustaining a focus on enforcement, is critical to our border security mission.”
