289 COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Wednesday

There have been 289 new coronavirus cases and 20 COVID-related deaths in Greater Lincolnshire on Wednesday.
The government’s COVID-19 dashboard recorded 233 new cases in Lincolnshire, 32 in North Lincolnshire and 24 in North East Lincolnshire.
On Wednesday, 18 deaths were registered in Lincolnshire and two in North Lincolnshire. These figures include deaths both in and out of hospitals, as well as residents in hospitals outside the county.
NHS England reported 15 new local hospital deaths on Wednesday, including nine at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and six at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG).

Two BMW cars worth over £100,000 combined have been stolen from Cadwell Park in Louth.
The cars, a BMW X5 medical car, and an M240i safety car, were stolen at around 12.15am on January 26.
The combined value of the two vehicle stands at over £100,000 and police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

They both have very distinctive looks due to their purpose as track safety and medical cars, as written on the vehicles themselves.
Coronavirus cases and deaths continue to increase in South Kesteven and Lincolnshire

There have been 213 new coronavirus cases in Lincolnshire in the past 24 hours and six deaths.
NHS England reported four more hospital deaths at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust today (Monday).
There has been a total of 177 deaths from coronavirus in South Kesteven, an increase of five since Friday. The number of cases in the district so far totals 5,693, an increase of 169 over the weekend.

National cases increased by 22,195 to 3,669,658 â the lowest daily rise in cases since December 15, while deaths rose by 592 to 98,531.
South Kesteven no longer has highest infection rate in Lincolnshire but ambulance service warns of tough times ahead

South Kesteven no longer has the highest Covid infection rate in Lincolnshire.
On Wednesday, the rate of infection in the district was recorded as 291.4 per 100,000 people, making it third behind South Holland and Lincoln city.
This was a drop from last Friday, where rates stood at 332.1 per 100,000 people in South Kesteven, making it the top district for infection rate.

On Wednesday, the governmentâs Covid-19 dashboard recorded 277 new deaths in Lincolnshire with the total number of deaths in South Kesteven confirmed as 163since the pandemic began, an increase of six deaths in five days.
