Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed to the House of Commons on Wednesday afternoon that all the UK nations had reached “unanimous agreement” over the measures, but said they should exercise personal responsibility over the festive period. Greater Lincolnshire was due to find out whether it will stay in the highest tier of restrictions on Wednesday, however, several news outlets including the Telegraph, iNews and BBC journalists are reporting an announcement will not be made until tomorrow.

NHS England reported 13 new local hospital deaths on Wednesday, including 10 at United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust and three at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG). NLAG has now hit 300 hospital deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The recordings were rediscovered in the corner of a Natural England office this year and have been brought back to life, digitised and made available to download, along with an illustrated map as a new nature trail.

Hampshire Hospitals say 38 9% caught Covid-19 in hospital

NEARLY 40 per cent of patients caught coronavirus while they were being treated at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust for other illnesses, new figures show. This means Hampshire Hospitals Trust had the highest acquired infection rate across England with board papers showing five of those individuals died after becoming infected in one of its hospitals.  The Telegraph has analysed data that shows 10,000 patients admitted to hospitals caught the potentially deadly virus after being admitted to hospitals across England. Out of all the healthcare trusts in England, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which operates Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, recorded the highest number of transmissions.
