More than 300,000 jabs in total have now been administered in the county
The latest NHS England figures from Thursday show 294,795 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lincolnshire so far and 10,055 of those have had second doses.
The weekly data means 304,850 jabs in total have taken place between December 8 and March 7 up by 33,246 on the previous week (271,604).
The weekly number, however, is down on the previous week’s 34,228 jabs.
The figures show 205,229 of those to receive their first vaccination were over the age of 65 with a further another 6,170 given their second.
Some 89,566 people aged under 65 have received their first dose, with a further 3,885 receiving a second jab. This includes those between aged over 16 who are clinically vulnerable and at more risk of serious symptoms of coronavirus.
Lincolnshire County Council and United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust have apologised after a man was discharged from hospital in freezing weather wearing “only a gown, with bare feet and carrying somebody else’s stick”.
The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman said the treatment of the man, known as Mr F, “engaged” article 3 of the Human Rights Act because it “could be perceived as degrading”. However noted it was for courts to say whether the act had been breached.
The ombudsman has ordered the trust to review its discharge policy and the council to ensure staff and homes are reminded of their duties under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Plans could expand
Designs for the new homes in Scotter.
Developers are seeking final approval on plans to build 42 new homes in a Gainsborough area village but want more if their land’s boundary can be expanded.
Shaun Hunt of HG Homes submitted proposals for land west of North Moor Road, in Scotter, to West Lindsey District Council.
The site has outline approval for 51 homes but the developer reduced the number due to “suboptimal” layout . However, they said if the plan’s boundaries changed, they could bring the number back up.
