NEW DELHI: Jio Platforms on Friday posted a net profit of Rs 3,508 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2021, a 47.5 per cent jump over the year-ago period, according to a company statement.
Its revenue from operations came in at Rs 18,278 crore, a growth of about 19 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Jio Platforms Ltd (JPL), the holding company of Reliance Jio Infocomm, has posted a 47.5 per cent rise in net profit at ₹3,508 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021, compared with ₹2,379 crore recorded during the same year-ago period.
During the period under review, the company’s revenue from operations rose 18.9 per cent to ₹18,278 crore from ₹15,373 crore recorded during the same quarter of the previous financial year, a company statement said.

The state-owned operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised the Rs 199 postpaid plan. The telco launched the plan last year with unlimited on-net calling and just 300 off-net minutes for an entire month.
Now after revision, the BSNL Rs 199 postpaid plan offers truly unlimited voice calling to any network within India including Mumbai and Delhi in MTNL network. Apart from free calls, the plan also comes with 25GB high-speed data per month, and 100 SMSes per day. It also comes with data rollover facility which will allow the users to carry forward up to 75GB of data next month.
