.distances self from killing native doctor in Imo Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has distanced itself from the statement credited to the police alleging that the group and its security outfit; Eastern Security Network (ESN) killed a native doctor in Awommama in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State. In a statement from the Media and Publicity Secretary Emma Powerful, IPOB described the report as ridiculous, warning against associating the group with such deity. The group also revealed that the camps reportedly destroyed by security agents were not ESN camps, noting that the claims were to create the wrong impression of their hard-working disposition.
