KUALA LUMPUR (June 27): The number of Covid-19 vaccine jabs declined to 187,877 doses yesterday, from 215,968 doses on Friday (June 25). According to data provided by the Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV), 132,279 first doses were administered yesterday, with 55,598 individuals given their second dose. As such, the seven-day moving average for Covid-19 vaccinations now stands at 221,707 doses. According to National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, the government has revised its targets upwards to administer 300,000 doses per day from July and 400,000 per day in August.

According to the latest tweet from the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV), citing data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF), 148,380 individuals received their first doses, while 67,588 persons got their second doses yesterday. The seven-day moving average of daily doses administered stood at 218,336. According to National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, the government has revised its targets upwards to administer 300,000 doses per day from July and 400,000 per day in August.
