Mobilizations across Brazil calling for Bolsonaro s removal
Brasilia, Jan 23 (Prensa Latina) Political parties, trade union and social movements, and the Brasil Popular and Povo Sem Medo fronts are staging today 87 mobilizations across the country to demand the removal of the president, Jair Bolsonaro, for his irresponsible dealing with Covid-19. In addition to the impeachment against the former soldier, the mobilizations have the banner of the fight against the health crisis with vaccination for the entire population, the extension of resources for the Unified Health System and the defense of social distancing measures.
Also, opposition to the economic crisis with the resumption of Emergency Aid, the Employment Protection Program, the fight against the spending ceiling and administrative reform.

Four recently published Guidelines shed light on ANVISA s
procedures related to prior approval analysis of patent

In November 2020, the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency
(Brazilian FDA – ANVISA ) published four
guidelines disclosing the procedures adopted by ANVISA to analyze
prior approval of patent applications related to pharmaceutical
products and processes.
This is the first time ANVISA brings into view details on how
the Agency examines patent applications remitted by the Brazilian
Patent Office (BRPTO) for compliance with Article 229-C
1 of the
Brazilian Patent Statute.
