Ryan Mink: The Ravens are a team that typically puts a high premium on production with their pass rushers. Well, Jayson Oweh didn t have any sacks in seven games last year. That s a little misleading, however, because he still got a lot of pressure. The Ravens are banking on Oweh s freakish athleticism being a sign that he s just scratching the surface of his immense talent. Baltimore needed a pass rusher to get after quarterbacks on the edge. Oweh can take the Ravens coaching and be a high-upside talent.
Clifton Brown - Jayson Oweh has the kind of athleticism that s hard to ignore, and I like the idea of addressing the pass rush on Day 1 with a pass rusher who has plenty of upside. The Ravens have done a good job developing pass rushers in the past, and they will hope Oweh is the next example. I m not worried about the fact he didn t have a sack last season. Oweh was around the quarterback a lot, and I think he ll get ple
Joey Pulone/Baltimore Ravens Baltimore Ravens OLB Pernell McPhee (90) and ILB Malik Harrison (40) tackle Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry (22) during a NFL Wild Card Playoff game on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Nissan Stadium (Baltimore Ravens/Joey Pulone)
After hearing so much talk about Derrick Henry, the Ravens finally silenced him.
Holding Henry to 40 yards on 18 carries, his lowest rushing total of the season, Baltimore s defense stifled the NFL s leading rusher and exorcised some demons during Sunday s 20-13 playoff victory.
Henry was the driving force when the Tennessee Titans upset Baltimore in last year s playoffs, punishing the Ravens with 195 yards on 30 carries. Henry demoralized the Ravens again in Week 11, when he dominated down the stretch and ended the game with a 29-yard touchdown run in overtime and 133 yards on his final stat line.

The Ravens are the only team Jimmy Smith has ever played for, and that will reportedly continue next season.
On Friday morning, Smith signed a one-year contract extension for 2021 that will keep him in Baltimore for his 11th season. Very happy about that, Head Coach John Harbaugh said. Jimmy s been a long-time Raven. He s a very good player still. . I know he s happy here. Obviously us, the organization, the team, the coaches, we feel very good about that and really respect his play. We re excited that it s going to continue.
The 32-year-old cornerback has spent his entire career with Baltimore since being a first-round pick (27th overall) from Colorado, and he has long expressed his desire to finish his career with the Ravens.
