Not many Cicero-North Syracuse High School students can say they spent two years conducting a research project on the flu vaccine and attending networking events with prominent members of the STEM field. College students have many options when it comes to when they graduate. Many students opt to take dual-credit classes in high school to fast-track their college experience. Others wait until they graduate high school to begin their college journey, which is the more traditional route. While at times it can feel as if society is pushing students to join the workforce faster, there are some college students who would rather take their time to gain more connections and explore more options available to them. What is the best option? While the answer differs for each student, the pros and cons of each method can be compared.
