‘India is falling in pitfalls of extremism, polarisation’ Islamabad December 17, 2020 Islamabad : The ideology of Hindutva has totally captured the Indian society as it is becoming increasingly exploitative. Today, India is falling in the pitfalls of extremism and polarization. This was stated by President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi while addressing the seminar ‘Understanding Hindutva Mindset and Indian Hegemonic Aspirations’ organised by India Study Centre, Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) on Wednesday. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz joined the discussion as guest of honor. The seminar comprised of two sessions titled, “Mapping Hindutva Mindset” and “Hindutva: Rise of Saffron Terrorism in South Asia.” The two sessions were chaired by Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani and Air Marshal (r) Javaid Ahmed HI(M), VC Air University respectively. ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that intentions of extremist government of India are threatening peace in the region and recent report of EU Disinfolab has exposed Indian actions. Senator Shibli Faraz, while addressing a seminar, said that Pakistan presents its point of view on regional situation in the light of facts but unfortunately, India distort facts and resort to lies and accusations to weaken Pakistan. The minister also questioned double standards of international community on threats to regional peace and use of various techniques by Indian government to destabilize Pakistan.

Talking to a private television channel, he said Nawaz Sharif is trying to save himself and his family through the flop shows of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).  The minister said Nawaz Sharif tried to tarnish the country s image by targeting the national institutions and opposition parties, particularly the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, is trying to create rift among the institutions. To a question, Shibli Faraz said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Prime Minister Imran Khan is an honest leader, who has selected a missionary path to bring improvement in the lives of poor people instead of choosing a better life.
