CANBERRA, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) Australia s Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton on Friday lashed a group of far-right extremists who held a gathering in a national park last week.
Dutton said he categorically condemned the activity of the far-right group.
The group assembled in the Grampians National Park, more than 250 km northwest of Melbourne, over the weekend leading up to Australia Day on Jan. 26 and burned a cross, chanted white power , presented Nazi salutes and harassed locals.
Their activity is the subject of investigations by Australian intelligence officers. I categorically condemn any such actions, Dutton told the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) in a statement.
