KAAL-TV Created: May 25, 2021 09:00 AM (ABC 6 News) A man, who has been on the run since January, is in custody at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center. On November 4, 2019, the Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said 40-year-old Joshua Michael Jacobson was driving under the influence, struck a vehicle, and injured a three-year-old girl who was inside. The girl s mother and first responders were able to perform life-saving measures to save the young girl. Jacobson was sentenced at the end of December in 2020 for his actions on that November day. The judge allowed Jacobson about a week to get his affairs in order before reporting to jail, but the sheriff s office said Jacobson never reported back to the adult detention center.
