(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE 12-11: The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said the man who suffered a medical emergency was pronounced dead was a 51-year-old man. His identity has not been released.
The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said a driver suffering from a medical emergency caused traffic to back up and a crash on Highway 63.
Sergeant Kirby Long tells ABC 6 News shortly after 2 p.m. a deputy was driving north on Hwy 63 when they noticed a vehicle on the shoulder with its hazards on. The deputy reportedly stopped to check on the driver and saw the driver was slumped over in the driver s seat and was not responsive.
