A woman reported the theft occurred sometime Friday while she was working at the Think Bank headquarters. Her vehicle was parked in the parking lot of the business in the 5200 block of Members Parkway NW.   The woman said was leaving work Friday afternoon and noticed her car was making a loud noise. She had a mechanic check her vehicle and that’s when the theft was discovered.

On Monday, sheriff s deputies received a report that two recreational vehicles stored at Eastside Storage, 6584 U.S. Highway 14 in Marion Township, had their catalytic converters taken. Between the two vehicles, three converters were stolen. The theft caused an estimated $7,000 loss. It is not known when the thefts occurred. On Sunday, a 55-year-old Bemidji, Minn., man reported to Rochester police that the converter from his 2007 Dodge Ram pickup was taken overnight while parked at the Soroc on Maine Apartments, 4870 Maine Ave. SE.

Rochester Police said an employee at the Think Bank Corporate Campus on Members Pkwy NW parked her 2005 Toyota Prius in the parking lot around 8 a.m. on Friday, April 2. When the woman came back to her vehicle and started it around 6 p.m., she noticed a loud noise coming from the vehicle. Police said the woman took the vehicle to a mechanic where it was confirmed her catalytic converter had been taken. Around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 4, Rochester Police said a man from Bemidji went to start his 2007 Dodge Ram pickup in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 4870 Main Ave. SE and heard a loud sound coming from the truck.
