Honks By Mitch Teich Flagstaff, AZ – Arizona Public Radio s Mitch Teich speaks with Mary Garland and Amanda Stine, co-authors of Sharing the Table at Garland s Lodge , a cookbook which collects more than 275 recipes from the lodge in Oak Creek Canyon from the past 30 years.

‘Work and a few vacations each year is all we’ve done for the past 34 years’ This couple has $2.6 million and no idea where to retire MarketWatch 1 hr ago Dear MarketWatch, My wife and I will turn 59 soon and plan to retire mid-2021 (we’ll both be 59). Climate may not be so bad in retirement since we wouldn’t need to shovel the cars out of the snow to go to work every day.

Sedona City Council: Pause city marketing - Sedona Red Rock News

Sedona Red Rock News Candace Carr Strauss, president and CEO of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau, gives a presentation to the Sedona City Council about the chamber’s workplan and budget on Wednesday, April 28. Photo by David Jolkovski/Larson Newspapers The Sedona City Council is requesting that the Sedona Chamber of Commerce hit the pause button on destination marketing for the next year. Time will tell if it will have the desired effect that many in the area have been seeking. But even those on council are not so sure. “I’m in favor of a pause for one year on marketing and we’ll still have to define what that is,” Mayor Sandy Moriarty said. “I, personally, don’t believe it’s going to change very much but the public believes with every fiber of their being that that’s [marketing] making all the difference. It will prove whether or not it really does and maybe it will give us a chance to catch up.”
