OGDENSBURG City police have arrested a 20-year-old Ogdensburg man on charges connected with a series of larcenies which took place around Ogdensburg over the last two weeks.
Andrew W. Petrie was charged July 25 with petit larceny (misdemeanor), criminal mischief 4th (misdemeanor), making a false written statement (misdemeanor), criminal mischief 3rd (E felony), criminal possession of stolen property 4th (E felony), and grand larceny 3rd (D felony).
During an investigation of the larcenies members of the Ogdensburg Police Department located a number of stolen items at a residence in the city, said a press release from the department. Several of the stolen items were damaged or defaced.

OGDENSBURG A city police investigation led to two arrests after officers found a semi-automatic shotgun with a grenade launcher attachment.
Curtis A. Redmond and Shelby LaJoy of Ogdensburg were charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
On July 14 Ogdensburg Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle and its occupants on South Water Street in the City of Ogdensburg.
