Officials with the Ogdensburg Fire Department say they were requested to assist Lisbon Fire Department at 68 Pray Road around 7 PM.
The homeowner had discovered the fire inside the wall, and mostly doused the visible flames.
Crews came in with a pre-connected attack line into the involved structure. They worked to completely extinguish the blaze.
The wall was then opened up for overhaul and to check for any possible extension using our thermal imaging camera.
OGDENSBURG â City Manager Stephen P. Jellie has upped the retirement incentive offer for city firefighters as a Christmas Eve âoffering of good faith and reconciliation.â

According to Mr. Bouchard, Ogdensburg firefighters have been issued an instruction from Mr. Jellie to immediately discontinue their first responder status.
â(This) statement is the latest in the efforts of President Jason Bouchard and Secretary Ronald Bouchard to spread fear and anxiety throughout the community because of their failure to negotiate a collective solution to the necessary staffing reductions required to ensure the survival of the city and ultimately begin the revival of the city,â Mr. Jellie. âThe instruction I issued today is only modified slightly from an instruction iss
