There was a large police presence Sunday in a Chickasha neighborhood after authorities say a man called police and told them he assaulted his wife, was holding her hostage and wanted someone to come out and talk to him.The man initially didn t cooperate when officers arrived at the scene.Michael Davenport, a reserve deputy with the Oklahoma County Sheriff s Office and a crisis negotiation team leader, told KOCO 5 that once he got a call about the situation, he spent most of the day on the phone with the suspect.
