Starting Sunday night, you ll no longer be able to pay cash on the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
PikePass will still work, but people who don t have it will have their license plates scanned and will get a bill in the mail instead of paying at a toll booth.
That bill could cost twice as much as the current cash fee.
Converting the Kilpatrick is the first step in an effort to make every turnpike in the state cashless.
