Minari that was shot in Oklahoma, you’ll have to catch it soon in select nonprofit Oklahoma theaters.
The film directed by Lee Isaac Chung won the Golden Globe Award this week for best foreign language film, even though it was filmed almost entirely in Tulsa and surrounding areas and featured several Oklahoma actors. Inspired by the director’s family’s move to the United States from South Korea when he was young, the story is of a Korean family chasing the American Dream in rural Arkansas.
