Kevin Stitt to lead to a special legislative session to overturn a law banning schools from mandating masks. Dr. Mary Clarke said Tuesday that there s no sign that the ban Stitt signed in March will change. Stitt s office didn t immediately respond to a request for comment. Arkansas is holding a special session Wednesday in an attempt to overturn its ban.The Oklahoma State Department of Health on Tuesday reported 946 new COVID-19 cases and a seven-day average of 1,657 new cases daily.
