The call obtained by Documented, a corporate watchdog group, was sent by the Rule of Law Defense Fund the day before the violent attack on the Capitol. “The march to save America is tomorrow in Washington D.C. at the ellipse in president’s park between E St. and Constitution Avenue on the south side of the White House,” the caller said. “We will march to the Capitol building and call on Congress to stop the steal. We are hoping patriots like you will join us to continue to fight to protect the integrity of our elections.”

Republican Attorneys General Association Executive Director Resigns Following Investigation Into Robocalls An investigation into robocalls that encouraged people to march at the U.S. Capitol last week has led to the resignation of the Executive Director of the Republican Attorneys General Association The robocalls in question urged people to march to the U.S. Capitol ahead of last week s riots. However, the calls did not advocate for violence or even suggest protesters should invade the Capitol. The office of Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter said that the association s executive director, Adam Piper, stepped down on Monday after two years on the job.

Ward s release from prison on hold

Randy Mitchell | For The Ada News Dec 23, 2020 Thomas Ward On Monday, a temporary stay was granted to the state to allow it time to seek a permanent stay on a judge s order to vacate the charges and sentences of Thomas Ward until the matter is resolved by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Last Friday, Oklahoma District Court Judge Paula Inge granted Ward s amended application for post-conviction relief (filed on his behalf earlier this year by his attorneys) and vacated and set aside the judgements and sentences against him, and, discharged Ward from the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
