A 75-year-old woman was walking across a Milford Township road after checking her mailbox and a 24-year-old driver was trying to readjust some items in her passenger seat when, according to police, a hit-and-run incident happened.

TROY Troy police are investigating a homicide discovered during the early morning Feb. 15 at the front entrance of Belle Tire, 4966 Rochester Road.
Employees arriving to work at around 7 a.m. found a man lying unresponsive in front of the building and called it in.
“Yesterday we had maybe an inch or two of fresh snow on the ground, and you’ve got employees that are just arriving. I think Belle Tire opens at 8 o’clock, so they’re showing up an hour before opening, and they’ve got a subject face down covered in snow near the entrance of the building,” Troy Police Department Public Information Office Sgt. Jason Clark said, adding that first aid was not attempted. “They c
