It s driven new controllers and cases oriented toward on-the-go streaming, many among the most innovative Xbox products in recent memory. Whether simple phone mounting clips or Nintendo Switch-inspired gamepads like the Razer Kishi, it s a space to watch as more peripheral makers pivot to streaming. OtterBox is the latest onboard, as one of the first established mobile players launching an Xbox lineup.
OtterBox unveiled its Xbox products at CES 2021 in January, with five accessories designed for iOS and Android users, anticipating the expected game-streaming boom ahead. They re what you d expect from any mobile gaming range, with an assortment of protective cases and mounting clips. OtterBox this week announced new console and mobile gaming accessories.
The Easy Grip Controller Shell for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One Controllers will provide added grip and protection, and will be sold in three colors.
The OtterBox Mobile Gaming Clip will attach a smartphone to an Xbox Wireless Controller. The final product can be folded down for travel, used as a table-top stand, and is compatible with the Easy Grip Controller Shell.
Finally a new Gaming Carry Case is a carrying case for Xbox Wireless Controllers to protect from damage during travel.
Products will be available for pre-order Jan. 25.
OtterBox is launching a Mobile Gaming Collection of accessories.
There are five products in the lineup, designed for compatibility with the Xbox One or Series X controllers, with prices ranging between $30-$55.
All products are available for pre-order on January 25 and will start shipping mid-February at a variety of retailers.
While OtterBox is mostly known for creating tough and rugged cases for the best iPhone and other devices, the company has branched out recently, as they even have an outdoor accessory line. But OtterBox is now getting into the gaming sector with the new Mobile Gaming collection. With this lineup, OtterBox bridges the gap between console and mobile gaming experiences. These new products are currently designed for the Xbox One and Xbox One S controllers, though this is just the start, so more controller support can be coming in the future.

And now, OtterBox has finally lifted the veil on exactly what the company has been working on, and it includes a bunch of different gadgets to take mobile gaming to the next level specifically designed for Xbox.
Today, the company has revealed a mobile gaming clip, controller shell, gaming carry case, and a gaming case and gaming screen protector specifically for phones. The gaming carry case and controller shell are specific to Xbox controllers. The whole lot is set to go up for pre-order starting later this month on January 25th.
