That is why I came to Delhi to work in some of the textile export companies),” said Akash, a 34 year-old textile worker living in a slum settlement near Udyog Vihar, New Delhi. Akash migrated to Delhi from a rural village near Gaya, Bihar at the young age of 17, in search of better livelihood opportunities.

New Delhi, May 14 : With an aim to equip students about the spectrum of techniques that can be used in effective stress management, Jindal Institute of Behaviourial Sciences (JIBS) under the aegis of O.P Jindal Global University organised a special virtual session on Stress Management and Performance Enhancement on May 14.
The session was presided over by renowned psychologist Professor (Dr.) Sanjeev P. Sahni, who is also Principal Director at Jindal Institute of Behaviourial Sciences (JIBS). A large number of students from Class 11th and 12th attended the online event.

Three IITs and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore have made the cut among top 20 varsities in BRICS countries, according to the latest QS Rankings.
Over 300 universities from India, China, Russia, South Africa and Brazil have been observed and graded for the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking, one of the global prestigious rankings.

The Trinamool Congress’ landslide victory in the West Bengal assembly election was quickly followed by images of arson and political violence on social media. While the Bharatiya Janata Party was the first to allege vengeance by Trinamool cadres, the TMC argued the reverse, and blamed the violence on intra-BJP faction-fighting. Eventually, both claimed casualties among their ranks. Even the Indian Secular Front – which had joined hands with the Congress and the Left Front – claimed the death of one of their activists in the post-poll violence.
