Jodie Turner-Smith thinks Meghan Markle c ould have modernised the Royal Family had she and Prince Harry not stepped away from royal life.
The actress weighed in on what could have been if the couple decided to remain in the U.K. as senior royals. She said it was a terrible missed opportunity for the former Suits star because she could have been a great moderniser of the monarchy. The way in which it was not allowed to be something that really modernises that institution, and to change it to something for the better. I think that s why there s dysfunction there, Turner-Smith told Telegraph during an interview about her role as Queen Anne Boleyn in the upcoming Channel 5 series Anne Boleyn.

CBS is about to release a special feature on Queen Elizabeth II s life and future without her husband Prince Philip, just weeks after the network caused a huge crisis in the royal family with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The programme, titled The Queen Carries On: A Gayle King Special, is scheduled to be broadcast on the channel on Friday, May 14, at 8 pm ET. According to a press release, the feature will look at [Her Majesty s] extraordinary life and reign, focusing on the challenges and controversies, romance and heartbreak that she has faced during her 69-year long reign, particularly the recent death of her husband of 73 years.

Oprah Winfrey announced that the mental health TV series that she and Prince Harry hav been working on will debut later this month.
The U.S. talk show host briefly talked about the series during an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show alongside US psychiatrist Dr. Bruce D. Perry. She said she worked on the series with Dr. Perry and the royal for the past two years and that it will finally air on Apple TV+.
