The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone XI, Osogbo, comprising Osun and Oyo States, Olasupo Babatunde Ajani has expressed the willingness of the Nigeria Police to support and partner with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) where needed.
He made this known on Thursday when the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Ayodele Adegoke and his team paid a courtesy visit to his office in Osogbo.
AIG Ajani said the Police and NYSC are subsidiaries of the federal government hence the need for partnership and consistent support for each other to ensure maximum productivity.
He assured the NYSC of additional security support even as it prepares to commence its orientation exercise in the coming days.

Ondo second on Budget Transparency Index 2020 Ranking

The Civil Resource Development and Documentation Centre, CIRDDOC has released its findings on the survey of budget transparency and performance by states.
The Centre declared Jigawa State top among 36 States on Budget Transparency Index 2020 ranking with Ondo coming second.
The survey was funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, FCDO, formerly known as DFID/UkAid, and implemented by CIRDDOC.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo in a statement in Akure quoted CIRDDOC’s Lead Researcher, Engr Ralph Ndigwe, as saying the ‘2020 Nigerian States Budget Transparency Survey’ showed impressive performance by most of the states in their score along various perimeters.
