Missing man located at Dubbo

A man missing from the state’s Central West has been found safe and well. The 55-year-old man was last seen in Macleay Street, Dubbo, yesterday (Tuesday 11 May 2021). Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts. The man was located this afternoon. Police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Ballimore

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s west yesterday. About 4.40pm (Tuesday 4 May 2021), emergency services were called to Golden Highway, near Barbigal Road, Ballimore, after reports of grey Toyota Kluger had left the road and crashed into a tree. Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene a short time later. The driver of the Toyota, a 33-year-old man, died at the scene. Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.

Man dies in single-vehicle crash at Coonabarabran

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s west this morning. About 2.45am (Sunday 11 April 2021), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were travelling on Baradine Road, Coonabarabran, when they located a Holden Commodore utility which had left the road and crashed into a tree. The Holden driver and sole occupant, a man, believed to be aged 19, died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified. Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries in the circumstances surrounding the crash. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
