The declaration allows Brown to issue executive orders restricting activity and helps the state utilize federal COVID-relief funds, the governor s office said It takes community-wide measures to make sure that we can protect our most vulnerable Oregonians, the governor said
Brown reiterated that Oregon s restrictions should be lifted by the end of June as vaccinations proceed, and highlighted another $20 million in relief funds earmarked for struggling businesses.
